The Taiwan e-Governance Research Center (TEG) was established in December 2007, with support from the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission of the Executive Yuan, Taiwan. The TEG is operated by the Taiwan Governance and Technology Center in the College of Social Science at National Chengchi University.

The TEG's goal is to develop policy guidelines to further Taiwan's e-government program. The TEG also aims to be an international center to share knowledge and database of e-governance with academic researchers, public sector professionals, and global citizens.
